Terms & Conditions for Users

Welcome to Stone Houz. These Terms and Conditions ('Terms') govern your access to and use of the Stone Houz platform, including our website, mobile application, and all associated services ('Platform'). By registering an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply: "Stone Houz," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Stone Houz, the technology-driven trading and contracting company operating the Stone Houz platform in Qatar. "User," "you," or "your" refers to any individual or organization that registers on or accesses the Platform, including homeowners, renovation clients, interior designers, and contracting companies. "Platform" means the Stone Houz website, mobile application, and all digital tools and services offered therein. "Merchant" means any supplier, trader, factory owner, or international supplier registered separately on the Platform to list and sell products. "Services" includes the e-commerce marketplace, room visualization tool, design consultation, installation, maintenance, global sourcing, and project mentoring services. "Content" means all text, images, listings, designs, and materials available on the Platform.
2. Account Registration and Eligibility
To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. By registering, you confirm that: • You are at least 18 years of age or are a legally authorized representative of a registered business entity. • All information provided during registration is accurate, complete, and up to date. • You will maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and are responsible for all activities conducted under your account. • You will promptly notify Stone Houz of any unauthorized use of your account. Stone Houz reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or engage in any conduct that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be harmful to the Platform or its users.
3. Permitted Use of the Platform
The Platform is intended for lawful use in connection with the selection, purchase, and procurement of marble, stone, and flooring materials, as well as related professional services. You agree to use the Platform solely for these permitted purposes. You must not: • Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose. • Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party. • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or its underlying infrastructure. • Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots to access or extract data from the Platform without prior written consent from Stone Houz. • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform or its associated systems.
4. Orders, Purchases, and Quotations
4.1 Placing Orders When you place an order or request a quotation through the Platform, you are making an offer to purchase the specified products or services. Stone Houz or the relevant Merchant will confirm acceptance of your order electronically. A contract is formed upon confirmation of your order. 4.2 Pricing and Payment All prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Stone Houz reserves the right to amend prices at any time. The price applicable to your order shall be the price confirmed at the time of order placement. Payment must be made through the approved payment methods available on the Platform. Stone Houz does not store payment card details. All transactions are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. 4.3 Cancellations and Refunds Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch or commencement of services, subject to the applicable cancellation policy communicated at the time of purchase. Custom orders and specially sourced materials are non-refundable once production or procurement has commenced. Refund requests must be submitted through the Platform within 7 days of delivery or service completion. Stone Houz will assess each request on a case-by-case basis.
5. Installation and Contracting Services
Stone Houz provides professional installation and project execution services through trained contracting teams. The following conditions apply: • You are responsible for ensuring that the project site is accessible and ready for work on the agreed date. • Any changes to agreed project scope must be requested in writing and are subject to revised quotation and timeline. • Stone Houz is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to site access issues, material shortages, or force majeure events. • Upon completion, you must inspect the work and raise any defects within 48 hours. Failure to do so within this period will be deemed acceptance of the completed work. • A limited workmanship warranty of 12 months applies to installation services, covering defects attributable directly to our installation team.
6. Room Visualization Tool
The Room Visualization Tool is provided as a visual aid only. Rendered previews are approximations and may not perfectly represent the final appearance of materials in your space due to variations in lighting, screen calibration, and material texture. Stone Houz makes no guarantee that the final installed product will exactly match the visualization generated.
7. Design Consultation and Project Mentoring
Design consultation and project mentoring services are advisory in nature. Recommendations provided by our consultants are based on information you supply and professional expertise. Stone Houz accepts no liability for decisions made by users that deviate from the recommendations provided. Final material selection, layout planning, and purchasing decisions remain entirely at your discretion.
8. International Sourcing and Logistics
When Stone Houz facilitates the procurement of materials from international suppliers on your behalf, the following terms apply: • Stone Houz acts as an intermediary only and is not the seller of record for internationally sourced materials. • Delivery timelines are estimates and may be subject to delays arising from customs, shipping conditions, or supplier availability. • You are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, or customs charges, unless otherwise agreed in writing. • Stone Houz will provide documentation support and tracking information throughout the procurement process.
9. User-Generated Content
By uploading photographs, designs, or other content to the Platform (including room photos for visualization), you grant Stone Houz a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content for the purpose of delivering the requested services. Stone Houz will not share your content with third parties without your consent, except where required to fulfill your order or comply with legal obligations.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, software, tools, and materials on the Platform are the intellectual property of Stone Houz or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our express written permission.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
Stone Houz is committed to protecting your personal data. Our collection, use, and storage of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you consent to the processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law in Qatar, Stone Houz shall not be liable for: • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform. • Loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill. • Any loss resulting from your reliance on information provided by Merchants or third-party service providers on the Platform. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Stone Houz in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts of Qatar.
14. Amendments to These Terms
Stone Houz reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform following notification of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
